Dr. David M. Bracciano, D.O.
Dr. Bracciano is one of the few dermatologists nationwide to be dual Board Certified in Dermatology and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery/Facial Plastic Surgery. In order to achieve his level of expertise Dr. Bracciano spent 9 years in postdoctoral training following 4 years of medical school, all completed in his home state of Michigan. He also spent 10 years in private practice in Michigan. During this time he served as Chief of Staff at Huron Medical Center, and was active as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University. Dr. Bracciano is a member of multiple medical societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Florida Medical Society, Sarasota County Medical Society, and their corresponding Osteopathic societies. He is a member of the medical staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Manatee Memorial Hospital, and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
Genevieve Melberth, PA-C.
Genevieve Melberth is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Genevieve grew up in Lakeland, Florida and attended the University of Florida, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science. After completing her undergraduate studies, she was accepted into the University of Florida Physician Assistant Studies program. She practiced Urologic Oncology and Female Urology, along with Interventional Radiology before joining Dr. Bracciano’s practice.
Genevieve is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, along with the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She enjoys all aspects of general and surgical dermatology.
Priya Nayyar, MD, FAAD
Dr. Priya Nayyar is a New York City trained board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon. As a widely regarded dermatologist, she has trained extensively in the treatment and management of high-risk skin cancers as well as advanced dermatologist laser and cosmetic procedures, including hair-restoration.
Dr. Nayyar graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and subsequently attended SUNY Downstate Medical School. During medical school, Dr. Nayyar was accepted into the highly competitive Clinical Research Training program at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Nayyar’s ability to diagnose and treat skin cancer is unparalleled because of the cutting-edge research she conducted.
After her dermatology residency, Dr. Nayyar went on to complete a Procedural Dermatology Fellowship specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, hair restoration and cosmetic procedures at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Health System in New York City.
Dr. Nayyar has been nationally and internationally recognized, receiving prestigious awards for her presentations, research and publications. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Julie M. Bracciano, PA-C.
Julie Bracciano, PA-C is an integral part of Bracciano Dermatology. Julie completed her Physician Assistant Master’s Degree at the University of Detroit Mercy. She then trained in dermatology and dermatologic surgery under the direction of Dr. Fred Roberts at Roberts Dermatology. Julie enjoys treating a wide variety of dermatologic conditions. She is also the Director of Laser Surgery at Bracciano Dermatology.
